In her prior profession, she worked as an EMT and Paramedic in the pre-hospital setting as well as in the acute hospital environment in the emergency department for over twenty years. In the last few years she has transitioned to helping those now in the mental healthcare field in exploring ways to assist individuals in pursuing and maintaining a healthy and healing journey in life. Given her extensive experience in emergency medical services she specializes in crisis intervention as well as crisis stabilization. She has experience working with adults, children and families who have experienced trauma, neurodivergent disorders, varied mental health diagnoses, and legal and socioeconomic concerns.
Kerri enjoys working with individuals in navigating life’s challenges, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, transitions and adjustments as well as addiction. Additionally Kerri describes herself as being empathetic as well as have a down-to-earth nature and personable demeanor. She has a dynamic approach, utilizing various theoretical approaches, behavioral neuroscience, and real life experience. She augments her approach to each client’s individual therapeutic needs while delivering emotional support and encouragement.
Concluding, in her free time Kerri enjoys relaxing with husband and her fur babies outside in the sun! Outdoor interests include: swimming, hiking, running, gardening, cooking and going to the beach!
Kerri received her Master's of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Kerri is an Associate Professional Clinicial Counselor (APCC #16893) providing services under the supervision of Morgan Hubbell, LMFT CA #116549.
