I became a therapist because of the transformative impact that therapy had on my own life, and I’m dedicated to helping others experience the same kind of growth and healing. My goal is to create a compassionate and collaborative space where we can work together to achieve lasting, meaningful change.
To address your challenges, I use a combination of psychodynamic and attachment-focused approaches. Psychodynamic therapy delves into how past experiences shape your current thoughts and feelings, while attachment-focused therapy explores how early relationships influence your present emotional patterns. Together, these approaches help you gain insight, resolve conflicts, and build healthier connections.
With a holistic perspective and experience in diverse clinical settings, I specialize in issues like substance use, non-chemical addictions, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I understand how life’s difficulties can lead to unhealthy patterns, and I’m here to support you in making healthier choices. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I also use this technique to help process and heal from trauma, empowering you to move forward with renewed strength and resilience.
I earned my Master of Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and also hold a BA in Communication Studies and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT #135877) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #12605) providing services under the supervision of Briana Smith, LMFT CA #117210.
